today, the day before…
Our Dr’s appointment today was scheduled at 10.30am. However, we only got to see Dr at almost noontime. I think we were the last one consulted before the clinic closed for lunch.
Anyway, you showed pretty well, we saw your little hands, feet and arms. Dr told us that you are actually slightly ‘ahead of time’. He also explained to us the delivery procedures. With c-sectione, it actually only would take about 20 minutes to ‘deliver’ you, unlike normal delivery. I did asked a $1million question, “How painful is it?” (the IT refers to “delivery”) to which dr replied, “10x or more painful than braxton hicks or false labor”. I have wanted to asked another $1million question like “what do you mean?!” but refrained. I didn’t ask anymore questions after that 
There were other things he explained but to tell you the truth, even though I asked a bit of questions, my mind was wandering. I was imagining how you would look like, would you look like me or your dad, etc.
On and off, I was distracted by your dad’s light conversation with Dr. – something about their old school and headmaster back in Sandakan. We went home feeling happy but more anxious!
