Totally enjoyed these lines of thoughts of Ian!
The words “hot dog”
Ian: Mom, is the dog hot?
The Word “Whole /Hole”
Mom: Ian, you look fresh this morning because you had enough sleep. You slept the whole night!”
Ian : Hole? Where’s the hole? Why is the a hole in the night?
Still not thinking too straight (unsuspecting) Mom: What hole, Ian?
Ian: Just now, you said ‘hole’ night! Why?
Mom: lol
The Word “Step”
Mom: Walk carefully, and watch your steps
Ian Where’s the step? No step here lah, just road only!
The Word “Drumstick” (chicken drumstick, remember?)
Ian: why drumstick? where’s the drum? where’s the stick?
The Word “Cross”
Mom: We have to cross this road now”
Ian: There’s no cross here. Why do you say “cross”?
Ian is reffering to the symbol as in church cross
His friend’s name Annabelle
Ian: Annabelle has no bell!?!
“Too”
Ian asked why the heavy machines at the road side looked dirty and full of weeds.
Mom: “….because it’s already too old and can’t be used anymore”
Ian: “ too old? why not three old? or four old?”
