but it was already about bed time!
Saturday First off, Happy Halloween to you! Halloween is definitely not a big thing in this part of world. So, this evening’s concert is Ian’s 2nd ever since joining pre-school. He had a blast, enjoyed the fun moments with his friends! There were performances including story telling, singing and dancing by the school children; the teachers did too!

The turnout was really good. I think it’s easier to get audience for a children’s concert, I mean parents would surely want to watch their kids perform right? I wouldn’t miss any of it over anything, would you? It’s fun watching the children having a great time! They were all so candid! I asked Ian why one of his friends cried on stage to which he replied, “He told me he wants his mommy!” Now isn’t that the cutest thing!

The above picture is the group singing ‘farewell and good night’. One or two were crying, probably tired, but most were so into their part! For some kids, if allowed more time, they could go on and on, while for some, 10pm means bed time!
today’s mood

Christmas-sy
another year wiser

Just finished preparing goodies for Ian’s pre-birthday celebration at his school tommorow. His birthday cake this year is themed “Train”. Initially, planned on buying cup cakes but time wasnt on my side as I almost forgot about this pre-birthday bash!
Ian looked and sounded excited about going back to school. While helping out with the goodies, he mentioned that some of this friends love eating chocolate or candy. So, I’m guessing that he’s eager to meet his friends. He has been asbent for almost 2 weeks but has recovered from his flu and cough (sigh of relief here). We got ourselves the common flu shots yesterday – I’m not sure how much it normally costs, we paid RM80 each.
So today is my birthday too! Another year wiser and younger! Young at heart that’s what it is:) I wish for better health, happiness and more wealth!
happy easter

Christmas at 1Borneo!
no chirstmas is complete without decorations, lights, and colors. with the christmas drawing near, many shopping malls have been decorated in creative and vibrant ways. 1Borneo, being the largest hypermall in Borneo has to have something a lil’ bit more impressive than other malls!! indeed, a beautiful set up – brings out that magical wonderland feelings in children and adults too!
yesterday, the hypermall launched, among others, its new stage shows with a gigantic ”fairytale castle”, with falling “snow” as it smain backdrop. the castle is reported to be 40ft high! the place was crowded when we visited and will sure continue to be crowded as long the ’set up’ is there! :)
themed “a magical christmas at 1borneo”, the hypermall is all ready for Christmas this year!

Children enjoy this kind of environment, bring them here:)
Happy Birthday to Lesley!
New Found Mate!
nnnn
We finally got Ian his new bicycle this morning. Believe me, he spent some hours just riding to & fro, round & round! As I write this, he’s sleeping. Been sleeping for the past 2 hours. I guess he was real tired from the rexcitement and all! Of course, took some pictures of him, here are some of them – he loves looking at them…(actually the mom loves looking at them more:)
going back and forth
taking a break
Here, I think he was already beginning to get the hang of it! I mean being able to control his new found mate:) We bought him a bicycle (a much smaller one) for his 1st birthday or was it christmas? (memory going rusty here), well, he told me that that bicycle is for baby and not big boy!
Finally, I’m 3 Years Old!
“Yes, yayy… finally! Today is my birthday”, said Ian
Ian has been talking about birthday cakes, blowing candles and presents since last week. Well, still, I didn’t want to plan anything big for his birthday as I don’t want to end up ‘pressured’ to have one in the future!:) I’d like to keep it simple every year!
Bought a cheese cake for him to share with his friends and teachers at the playschool. When I picked him in the evening, he was sort reluctant to leave – as if he wanted to stay longer as many of his friends were still there. I can tell he’s beginning to get more attached here. Florina, one of his teachers, said that he was really happy and talkative today! Well, that surely means he had a wondeful day!
