Digital pack rat??
I wonder, do you hold on to items such as jewelry from some old friends, probably from a secret–no-longer–secret-anymore-admirer, childhood possessions, photos before digicam and the like? Do you still keep your 6th grade school report? How about that Coloring Competition attendance certificate also from the 6th grade?
Some of us hold on to these items into adulthood. I actually love old pictures though I dont have too many…yet!
Where do we draw the line between becoming a pack rat and cherishing memories?? Just wondering.
I read what Leo Babauta had to say about being a “digital pack rat”. Errm.. I maybe becoming one and it’s sort of cramping my style! I try to throw things we dont need around the house, I believe it’s working well so far, but now “my digital life is a mess”! Good for Leo, he has gotten over it! Need to learn from his lil’ advice!
